Silk Road Group Holding Speaks on the Importance and Challenges of Sustainability Reporting
Silk Road Group Holding participated in a public discussion.
On May 20, an event titled "Sustainability Reporting and Related Assurance Services: International Experience and Its Importance for Georgia" was held in Tbilisi, organized by SARAS. The event's partners are the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, the National Bank of Georgia, and the Polish Audit Oversight Agency - PANA.
At one of the panels - "Benefits and Challenges of Sustainability Reporting" - Levan Gogoladze, Head of ESG at Silk Road Group, spoke about the Group's transition process to sustainability reporting, its ESG action plan, and the importance of data-driven reporting. It was noted that the Group's goal is to gradually establish a sustainability reporting system that is credible, comparable, and aligned with international practices for investors.
Levan Gogoladze emphasized the need for ESG data quality, internal processes, knowledge development, and readiness for assurance services as one of the key and noteworthy issues for the private sector.
